GTO CONNECTICUT CORONA DEL CIBAO
the name focuses on the Cibao Valley, which is where the wrappers for the cigars come from. The new cigar is called Corona del Cibao, offered in both Corojo and Maduro wrapper versions. The blend is entirely Dominican, with Dr. Oscar Rodriguez—GTO’s founder—explaining that his goal was to recreate an old blend originally created by his grandfather in the 1940s. He says that all tobaccos are 10-years-old.
The Corona del Cibao is offered only in a 6 x 54 toro.
